After a grueling 18 hours session on Day 8 of the World Series of Poker Main Event, the final table has been set.
The players will resume play on the 9th of November giving them four months to bask in the limelight and hone their skills to compete for the greatest prize in poker. Michael’ The Grinder’ Mizrachi is the most well known player on the table with a wealth of tournament experience and over US$8 M in tournament winnings. The only other poker professional on the final table with comparable tournament success is John Racener who has over US$1 M in tournament winnings. Soi Nguyen is the only amateur left on the table but has been holding his own by staying aggressive in the face of such stiff competition. Eight of the final nine play poker professionally so we should be in store for some great action when November comes around.
