MICHAEL MARVANEK WINS MACAU POKER CHALLENGE

Michael Marvanek, an Australian poker professional and member of Team Poker King, defeated 77 other players to win the second Macau Poker Challenge at the Poker King Club. The tournament was held at the StarWorld Hotel and Casino in Macau.

Marvanek is part of a team which represents the Poker King brand at tournaments all over the world. He is also a regular at the high stakes cash games at both the StarWorld and Wynn casinos, and is a well-known figure in Asia’s gaming capital.

For the win, Marvanek took home a shiny new trophy and HK $89,000 in prize money. Meanwhile, runner-up Junwoo Oh from South Korea was awarded HK$48,000 for his efforts.

In addition, Marvanek joins the ranks of Weng Hong Hoi, the Hong Kong player who won the first Macau Poker Challenge earlier this year.

The buy-in was set as HK$2,750 + HK$250.
